Creating a sense of safety in our bodies and psyche is the number one factor in creating change.

Let me explain…

Feelings and patterns will not come to the surface if they don’t feel safe to do so.

Our feelings and habitual patterns can be thought of as little children… little children who do not know any better.

We need to love them. We need to acknowledge them. And we need to let them know we are not judging them.

There have been studies that show one of the biggest factors in someone achieving a goal and sustaining positive change is self-compassion.

Self-compassion is not a “nice to have”, it's a must-have.

We need to stop judging our thoughts. We need to stop judging our habits. We need to stop judging our writing and creativity. We need to stop judging our lives.

Love and acceptance are the fertilizers that will allow your life to blossom.

Love and acceptance are the sunlight that will allow your plant to grow.

Love and acceptance are the foundation you will build your house on.
