Change Your Life in 30 Seconds

Every morning I start my day by burning my corneas staring at the sun.

It happens on autopilot, I wake up, shuffle downstairs and immediately head to the backyard.

At first, I wasn’t sure if anything was happening. But now, I find my body craving that time out in the sunshine.

I walk back inside feeling more awake, more connected to my body, and more connected to nature.

Those 30 seconds communing with the sun have a drastic effect on my morning.

And it got me thinking about how tiny changes can be life changing.

What if we committed to meditating at lunch for 30 seconds?

What if we committed to consciously breathing for 30 seconds?

What if we said positive affirmations for 30 seconds?

Magic can happen in 30 seconds.

A lot of times we don’t want to start a new habit because of the fear of how much time it will eat up. It's scary to introduce something new to our already overflowing calendars.

But what if we could add bite-size chunks? What if we could, ever so slowly, introduce our minds and bodies to something new?
